Erika Knight: The Collection is the ultimate compendium of timeless knitwear projects from a leading yarn craft designer. Divided into four sections – Classic, Glamour, Classic at Home and Glamour at Home – this delightful project book is a compilation of many of Erika Knight’s favourite knitting patterns.
Classic contains a beautiful collection of enduring wardrobe basics, from the quintessential v-neck sweater in aran cotton to a perfect mohair cardigan.
Glamour is a must-have portfolio of sensuous, sultry knits inspired by Hollywood sirens, including a lacy knit shrug and a frill-neck tea top.
Adding sumptuous texture to any room, Classic at Home is a collection of relaxed casuals, from a chunky knit throw in soft wool blend to a practical wash mitt in hemp.
The designs in Glamour at Home turn the dullest room into a seductive salon: a silk cushion is transformed with clusters of mother-of-pearl buttons while an otherwise mundane coat hanger is turned into a must-have accessory with ribbon, sequins and trims.
The Glamour yarns are tactile and opulent: velvet chenille, flowing satin and sensuous silk. The Classic textiles are nature; and rustic: crisp cotton, rough hemp and soft merino. These projects form a tightly focused capsule collection of easy-wear classic casuals and seductive glamour knits for the modern woman.
