british blue 100 is a home grown luxury yarn made in Yorkshire from 100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool and to celebrate the launch of this yarn we are proud to showcase some of the best home grown British talent with our exclusive collaborations with designers Emma Wright, Jeanette Sloan and Angela Wood.

All patterns feature beautiful studio photography by Yuki Sugira and are available to purchase from your LYS and online from the erika knight Raverly store .

Emma Wright HeadShot

Emma Wright is a British fashion knit and crochet designer with a love of colour, flora, dogs and British wool. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2014, Emma set up a studio in her grandparents’ spare room in Sheffield with her wire-haired fox terrier Daisy.

Angela Wood is a textile and knitwear designer. Married to William, a sheep- farmer, she lives in rural South Derbyshire on the family farm. Passionate about the fit and form of knitted garments she also likes to experiment with all types of surface decoration, embellishment and embroidery. Angela’s career spans over 20 years working in the industry and travelling extensively,she still thrives on a challenge and learning new skills.

‘Camellia’ by Jeanette Sloan

Camellia is the first design by Jeanette Sloan for erika knight – a pretty, modern knit sweater with scoop neck, and a decorative rib stitch yoke and sleeves.

Studio Linen is made from recycled linen fibres, which are selected, undone and re-spun with premium natural linen to create a beautiful and unique recycled yarn. With a dry hand feel, cool drape and subtle sheen, a yarn that just gets better with wear and age.
