Poppies & Irises by Sarah Hazell

25th October 2017
Poppies & Irises front cover

This elegant snood pattern designed exclusively for erika knight by British designer Sarah Hazell is knitted using 4 hanks of luxuriously soft british blue 100.

Poppies & Irises are two long snoods, each knitted using the same two-colour striped slip stitch pattern but with a choice of a contrasting third colour ribbed or cable-like stitch pattern.

The subtleties of the colours used in this painting by Roger Fry have inspired the naming of these two complimentary snoods.

This yarn is a unique roving yarn and while every effort has been made to ensure the meterage is consistent, there may be some variation from hank to hank. The 3 available patterns have been designed to use just one hank and have been tried and tested. However please note that more yarn may be consumed depending on the larger the needle size you use and how you knit.
